The Hysteresis Dynamometer, also called AHD series, is a versatile and ideal testing equipment suitable for low and medium power testing. Unlike other types of brakes, the Hysteresis brake does not require a specific speed to generate torque, so it can be tested effectively from no load to locked rotor.
The brake's cooling system is provided in two ways: by convection cooling, where no wind source is required, or by air cooling, where compressed air (AHD series) or blower (BHD series) can be utilized, depending on the model. The Hysteresis Dynamometer, with its continuous and short-term intermittent power, is capable of efficiently radiating more heat range as compared to other types of testing equipment.
The dynamometer accuracy varies from ±0.25% to ±0.5% of full scale, depending on the size and system composition of the dynamometer. Additionally, it offers special designs adapted for high-speed motor testing, making it highly versatile and reduces the chances of errors.
The Hysteresis Dynamometer is widely used in the performance testing of various AC and DC motors, such as torque, speed, power, etc. It is highly effective in the detection of automobile motors, household appliance motors, electric tool motors, compressor motors, and aviation motors.
The dynamometer comes in 12 different standard models, providing a peak torque range from 0.1kg·cm to 50kg·cm. The hysteresis brake system ensures accurate torque loads independent of speed. Additionally, it can be used to test motors from a no-load to blocked state.
The dynamometer has an accuracy range of ±0.25% to ±0.5% (full scale), thanks to high-precision load and speed sensors. Furthermore, the airflow detection prevents overheating and operator errors. The base comes in optional long plate type or short plate type.
The dynamometer can also be customized for special torque and speed needs, and it can easily be adjusted using weights.
