Description:
Our company employs the Hot Runner Injection Molding technique to manufacture top-notch plastic components. This method involves injecting molten plastic into a mold through a network of heated channels, known as the hot runner system. By maintaining the plastic in a molten state throughout the injection process, this system eliminates the need for runners and reduces material waste. Hot Runner Injection Molding offers numerous benefits. Firstly, it enables faster cycle times since the molten plastic can be directly injected into the mold without the requirement of cooling runners. This leads to enhanced productivity and shorter lead times. Moreover, the elimination of runners reduces material costs and minimizes the environmental impact. To ensure precise control over the injection process, our company utilizes advanced hot runner technology. The hot runner system is equipped with temperature sensors and controllers, enabling accurate temperature regulation and consistent part quality. This technology also empowers us to manufacture intricate parts with tight tolerances. Hot Runner Injection Molding finds extensive application in various industries, including automotive, electronics, and consumer goods. It is particularly well-suited for large-scale production runs and projects that demand high precision and efficiency. |

Features:
For this project, a three-plates mold was chosen, adhering to the LKM standards. The material used for the mold is PC with a 10%GF additive, ensuring the desired properties. To achieve optimal results, a hot runner system was employed for injection and runner type. The resulting part has dimensions of 212.45 x 124.68 x 7.58mm and weighs 12g. The surface finish is meticulously achieved by polishing it with 800# sandpaper, while the inner surface is treated with VDI21# EDM. The cavity and core of the mold are made from hardened steel, specifically 1*1/S136, ensuring durability and longevity.
The mold created by Chitwing boasts a range of impressive features. It has transitioned from a 2x hot runner valve gate system to a cold runner pin point gate system, along with a customized mold base. With dimensions of 450 X 500 X 566mm and a weight of 600kg, it is ideal for use with a 180T machine. |
Advantage:
Our company specializes in manufacturing hot runner injection molding molds, which offer a range of unique benefits. To begin with, hot runner injection molding eliminates the need for runners and sprues, resulting in reduced material waste and lower production costs. This not only leads to cost savings but also promotes environmental sustainability. Additionally, hot runner systems allow for precise temperature control throughout the molding process. This ensures consistent and uniform part quality, minimizing the occurrence of defects such as warping, sink marks, or uneven filling. The ability to maintain optimal temperature also improves the flow characteristics of the molten plastic, resulting in enhanced part aesthetics and dimensional accuracy. Moreover, hot runner injection molding provides greater design flexibility. By eliminating runners, it enables the production of more complex and intricate part geometries, allowing for the creation of highly customized and intricate components. This versatility opens up new possibilities for product innovation and differentiation. Furthermore, hot runner molds enable faster cycle times compared to traditional cold runner molds. This increased efficiency translates into higher productivity and shorter lead times, enabling our customers to bring their products to market faster. Overall, our hot runner injection molding molds offer a range of advantages, including reduced material waste, lower production costs, improved part quality, enhanced design flexibility, and faster cycle times. These benefits make our molds an excellent choice for customers seeking high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative solutions. |
