Costomized Precision Threaded Core Plastic Mold Parts For Packaging Industry
Processing & Inspection Machine List.pdf
Threaded core is manually placed inside of mould (tooling) and once the part is moulded, the moulding with the core still inside will be removed from the moulding machine. In genenal, the operator removes the core with power tools from the threaded core moulding. There are most likely put 2 threaded cores in the mould, so that the machine can carry on moulding with one core while the operator removes the other thread core from the part.

FAQ:
Q1: What is mold core and cavity?
A: The core is the male part which forms the internal shape of molding. The cavity is the female part which forms external shape of molding.
Q2: What is core in injection molding process?
A: Cavity and core are used in the injection molding process, where the concave part of the mold is the cavity and the convex part is the core. The cavity and core are used in pairs, with the cavity also referred to as the female mold and the core as the male mold.
Q3: What is core in plastic injection molding?
A: Core is the side of the tool where the plastic part is injected from; also known as the bottom half of the tool. The upper half of the mold is called CORE.
Q4: Why core is used in mold cavity?
A: The core and cavity are the two halves of the mold where the hot molten plastic material is injected into the core and cavity and the gap between the core and cavity is filled with the hot molten material during the injection molding process and then hardened into the final shape.
