Description:
Our KM-2291 series thread micrometers, also known as pitch micrometers or plug micrometers, it can be applied to thread
measurement of different sizes and pitches, the reading indicates the thread pitch diameter.
Screw thread micrometers supply with interchangeable 60° V-shaped and knife-edged anvils that are shaped to match
the thread profile, each measuring range is equipped with several pairs of anvils. By changing different anvil combinations,
different range of thread parameters can be measured.
We supply a full measuring ranges from 0-25mm to 175-200mm to meet different measurement requirement.

Precautions:
Screw thread micrometer is a precision measuring tool. It should be used with care and gentleness, and do not let it
be hit or collided. The threads in the micrometer are very precise, so please pay attention when using them:
1. Neither the rotary knob nor the force measuring unit should be rotated with excessive force.
2. When turning the knob to bring the micrometer screw closer to the object to be measured, be sure to rotate the force
measuring unit. Do not turn the knob to make the screw press against the workpiece to be measured.
3.When the micrometer screw and anvil have jammed the workpiece to be measured or tightened the locking device,
never turn the knob forcibly.
4. When using a micrometer to measure the same length, the measurement should generally be repeated L times,
and the average value should be taken as the measurement result.
5. After using the micrometer, wipe it clean, leave a little gap between the anvil and the screw, and put it in the box.
If it is not used for a long time, apply engine oil and place it in a dry place. Be careful not to expose it to corrosive gases.
