The CA168-G is a newly upgraded smart single phase electric meter that combines high precision metrology with wireless communication and contractual control methods. It is a two wire spec that operates in prepayment and post-payment mode. The meter can change payment mode upon the receipt of the command transmitted from head-end server. The meter displays full set of metering data including V, A, PF, total consumption, balance and last 5 successfully entered tokens. It also records load profiling data at preset interval periods. This meter is superb choice for large residential consumer and light commercial or industrial users' metering applications.

The meter is compliant with Standard Transfer Specification (STS) and designed for STS credit dispensing. It operates in currency value and kWh credit and offers both service providers and consumers added convenience by seeing the balance immediately. The curency value based algorithm allows the meter to work on Time of Use (TOU) tariff basis and enables the utility to increase their revenue and as the same time manage their load effciently.

The GSM wireless connectivity makes CA168-g availabe for real-time data transmission to the head-end server and remote auditing as well as control by the utility. This feature offers service providers flexibility of effcient management with no need to pay extra to set up extra equipment to collect data and comminicate with the meter..
