Tamper Proof Wireless Electricity Meter Split Type , Prepayment Electric Meters​

The CA168-S is a Din Rail split type STS compliant prepayment meter complete in polycarbonate housing of IP51 rating and up to 13kV / 6.5kA lightening protection, making it applicable in lightening frequent African continent. Due to its wide range of working current 5(80)A and 30Vm withstand of rugged RF, the meter is able to operate well in severe environments.

The CA168 -S consists of two parts. A customer interface unit (CIU), and a metering and control unit (MCU). The CIU is a keypad based display, to be installed within consumers homes wherever there is a plug point. A MCU is the main meter, locked away from consumer's home in a kiosk, meter box or a pole-mounted enclosure .The communication between the MCU and CIU is Power Line Carrier (PLC) This wireless feature facilitates the inspection by utility and service providers at any time without visiting consumers' houses and also makes the meter immune to all type of tamper and frauds.
