Tanzania Split Keypad Water Prepaid Meters Lora connection, STS certificate R100
Multi-jet and semi-dry or wet dial should be the right water meter in East and Central Africa or any other place around equator. Most countries have been misleading by technology wagoons in Europe where the cold season cracks wet dial type and dry dial must be adopted, and volumetric seem quite popular for high quality clean water supplies. The CA568 just fits into African and any other developing countries' infrastructure. The meter works with a motor driven valve that disconnect the supply when credit exhausts. Strainers are built inside of meter chamber to protect the counter piece from the particles of foreign substance in water. The battery can be replaced by authorized field staff and battery life can last over 5 years.
The meter works with a customer interface unit(CIU) through RF Lora communication. The CIU will install indoor, consumers can input token on CIU, then the meter will received the token,This makes it easy for consumers to buy water . CIU can also let consumers to check meter's data, like token acceptance and rejection, credit status, historical usage data can be displayed with the LCD of the CIU.This split design makes the meter immune to any tamper and fraud on CIU side. Because the meter has RF Lora technology, can allowing the meter to communicate with a Customer Interface Unit (CIU) or a head-end Server (HES) from a visual distance up to 1 mile. This split type makes people's lives better.
