Along with the development of off-grid, mini-grid projects worldwide, the demand for accurate prepaid smart metering is getting robust each day. Calin CA168 single phase smart prepaid electric meter operates with STS IEC62052, the only international standard for prepayment metering. It is applicable for any off grid / mini-grid metering and revenue collection scenarios, especially for the places where the communication network is not reliable or zero since the meter can trip on tamper or credit finishes on its own without connection with the back-end server. The meter is built with SANS, IEC standards, the same as the ones supplied to the main grid power companies.
On top of the metrology features, Calin Single Phase Smart Prepaid Electricity Meter has built-in RF module that enable the meter to communicate with data concentrator and the back-end server system. This means the meter can be monitored and controlled remotely at the back-end side. Data dashboard is available for statistic analysis.
