Solar energy is rapidly expanding in Southeast Asia and the African continent, offering a reliable solution for electrifying areas beyond the reach of conventional power grids. The CA168-S is a specialized instrument crafted for solar-powered microgrid systems, equipped to handle electrical currents of 5A, 16A, 40A, and 60A, with a standard voltage rating of 230V and a precision level of Class 1 to ensure accurate measurement readings.
Equipped with an integrated LoraWAN module, this meter is capable of connecting with a supervision and control network, transmitting meter data to a data aggregator via Lorawan. The data aggregator subsequently uploads the collected information through GPRS technology, and a signal booster can be utilized to enhance the communication scope of the data aggregator.

  2. The CA168-S employs AES encryption within the STS framework, offering a 20-digit encryption key. It ensures a high level of security and is in line with the IEC62056-21 international standards for convenient data access.
  3. Reverse Power Alert (RPA)
  4. This functionality detects and flags any significant instances of reverse power flow (RPA) within the network.
  5. Dual Power Supply Capability
  6. The meter supports both pay-as-you-go and credit payment options. It is also designed to detect overloads and automatically disconnect power when the credit is depleted.
  7. Consumption and Credit Control
  8. The load control feature is customizable, and the system can issue a low credit alert to inform users when their balance is running low.
  9. Tamper Identification and Data Logging
  10. The CA168-S is capable of detecting and logging any tampering attempts, such as cover removal, reverse connection, or power outages. Additionally, the system facilitates easy retrieval of up to 12 months of historical usage data and the last five transaction records.
