The Gongyi UT Machinery briquetting presses machine are able to compact materials like wood shavings, sawdust, wood chips, dust and other residual materials into stable, cylindrical briquettes. Compared to loose material, the initial volume will be reduced by up to 90%.

The hydraulic piston presses the material into the closed sleeve until the adjusted pressure is reached (which is usually set up to 80 bars). Then the sleeve opens and finally a stable briquette is produced. The more homogeneous the material, the more uniform results the length of the produced briquettes.

The briquettes have a shape of a cylinder of diameter 50 mm to 80mm , length 30 to 50 mm, heating value of 15 to 18 MJ/kg. They can be combusted in all types of stoves, boilers and incinerators for combustion of solid fuels. Their high heating value is better used in gasifying boilers. The volume of waste is decreased eight times by briquetting, and consequently waste transport and storage is cheaper.

Requirements of material:

1). The inlet size of raw material must be less than 3mm. If the raw material size are bigger, you must crush them with wood crusher firstly. The smaller the raw material, the smoothly the briquettes surface, and the better the hardness and strength.
2). The moisture of raw material for briquetting, must be less than 10%, and the moderate is 8%- 12%, otherwise, the outlet briquettes are easily broken and have crevice. So before briquetting, you shall check the moisture content, if too wet, please drying them with sawdust dryer or under sunshine.
