By incorporating the CPS122, users can achieve reliable, precise pressure measurements while minimizing power consumption and simplifying system design.
The CPS122 is a highly accurate, low-power pressure sensor system-in-a-package (SIP) designed for a wide range of applications. It combines a resistive bridge-type pressure sensor with a 24-bit ADC, delivering high-resolution pressure measurements. The sensor is factory-calibrated for both pressure and temperature, ensuring ease of use without requiring additional calibration by the host microcontroller.
The CPS122 is initially programmed to Sleep Mode, in which it remains asleep until a measurement request (MR) is received from the master/host. Upon receiving an MR command, the CPS122 wakes up, completes a measurement cycle, stores the data in internal registers, and then returns to sleep mode.
