2. Description:
The tester is used to test lateral rigidity property of helmet.
Test method:
Place the safety between the two plates and the edge close to the lower plate as possible.
The upper plate is imposed 30N force to the helmet vertically and keep the 30s, record the space between the two plate as Y1.Then the forced upload to 430N in the speed of 100N/min and keep 30s, record the space value Y2. Reduce the load to 25N in the speed of 100N/min and upload to 30N again instantly and keep pressing 30N, record the space as Y3.
The measuring value shall be exact to 1mm, record the damage degree.
Calculate the D. value of Y2 and Y1 as Max. deformation.
Calculate the D. value of Y3 and Y1 as residual deformation.
