Desk Top Rubber Tester DIN 53512 Standard Rebound Resilience Elasticity Tester Universal Testing Machine
Flexible elastomers and rubber products respond to external forces by applying a reaction force. The ASTM D2632 test measures this force to infer the elasticity of the rubber product.
The vertical rebound test is to drop the standard plunger vertically from the specified height onto the horizontally placed object for six consecutive times. The heights of the fourth, fifth and sixth rebounds were visually recorded and averaged. The results given in percent represent the elasticity of the rubber article tested.
