​Introduction

Most of the medical masks are made of one or more layers of non-woven fabrics. The main production processes are melt blowing, spunbonding, hot air or needle punching, etc., which have the equivalent effect of resisting liquid, filtering particles and bacteria. Medical masks are textiles for medical protection.

A medical mask consists of a mask body and a tension band. The mask body is divided into inner layer, middle layer and outer layer. The inner layer is skin-friendly material (ordinary sanitary gauze or non-woven fabric), and the middle layer is an isolation filter layer (ultrafine polypropylene).
