Agricultural Use White Crystal Nitrate Salts KNO3 for Thailand Market, NOP 13-0-46 Potassium Nitrate Fertilizer
1. Product Intoduction
Potassium nitrate is an inorganic substance commonly known as nitrate or soil nitrate. Kno3 refers to the nitrate of potassium. Potassium nitrate is a colorless transparent rhombic or rhombic crystal or white powder. Potassium nitrate is odorless, non-toxic, and has a salty and refreshing taste. Potassium nitrate has minimal moisture absorption in the air, is not prone to clumping, is soluble in water, can dissolve in liquid ammonia and glycerol, and is insoluble in anhydrous ethanol.
Potassium nitrate is a chlorine free nitrogen potassium compound fertilizer with high solubility. Its effective components, nitrogen and potassium, can be quickly absorbed by crops without any chemical residue. Potassium nitrate is used as fertilizer and is suitable for vegetables, fruits, and flowers, as well as some chlorine sensitive crops (such as potatoes, strawberries, beans, cabbage, lettuce, peanuts, carrots, onions, blueberries, tobacco, apricots, grapefruit, and avocados).
Potassium nitrate is a strong oxidizing agent that can cause combustion and explosion when in contact with organic matter. Therefore, potassium nitrate should be stored in a cool and dry place, away from flames and heat sources. Avoid co storage and transportation with reducing agents, acids, flammable materials, and metal powders.

3. Potassium Nitrate Application
1. Potassium nitrate is used as an analytical reagent and oxidant, as well as in the synthesis of potassium salts and the preparation of explosives.
2. Potassium nitrate is used in the food industry as a coloring agent, color protectant, antimicrobial agent, and preservative, such as in cured meat and luncheon meat
3. Potassium nitrate is a raw material for producing black gunpowder, such as mine gunpowder, ignition wires, firecrackers, etc. KNO3 is also used in fireworks to generate purple sparks. Mechanical heat treatment is used as a salt bath for quenching. The ceramic industry is used to manufacture porcelain glaze color drugs. Used as a glass clarifying agent. Used for manufacturing automotive lamp glass shells, optical glass picture tube glass shells, etc. The pharmaceutical industry is used to produce penicillin potassium salts and rifampicin drugs. Used for making cigarette paper. Used as a catalyst. NOP 13-0-46 can be used as mineral processing agents. Used as a compound fertilizer for crops and flowers.
4. Potassium nitrate is used in the production of fireworks, matches, ceramic glazes, fertilizers, etc.
We have exported industrial grade potassium nitrate to Thailand several thousand tons in past 2023. Yixin potassium nitrate is polular in Thailand market.
Potassium Nitrate Features
Application Rates: The appropriate application rate of potassium nitrate fertilizer depends on factors such as the crop type, soil fertility, and specific nutrient requirements. It is crucial to conduct a soil analysis and follow agronomic recommendations to determine the optimal fertilizer rate for your crop.
Timing: The timing of potassium nitrate fertilizer application varies depending on the crop's growth stage and nutrient demands. It is often applied before planting as a basal application and supplemented with additional applications during critical growth stages, such as flowering, fruiting, or grain development.
Compatibility: Potassium nitrate is generally compatible with other fertilizers, allowing for customized nutrient blends. However, it is essential to ensure compatibility and conduct a jar test or consult with experts when mixing different fertilizers to avoid any potential adverse reactions.
