Besides this function, CL12/2410LI-A has a optional function that is dropping LED's power automatically when battery is lower than 12.5V/25V. This function assures solar street light work longer.

How does CL12/24LI-A drop load's power? and how fast does CL12/2410LI-A drop load's power?

Let's use an example to answer these questions

Use 12V solar street light as example. When the voltage of battery is less than 12.5V, the controller begins to drop LED’s power automatically. The LED’s output power changes linearly from 100% of the set power to 30% as the voltage of battery changes from 12.5V to 11V. (24V: double the voltage). If the under-volt protection value is over 11V, the output power will not drop to 30%, but >30%.
