The Avago AFBR-79EBPZ is a 40 Gigabit Ethernet (40G) bidirectional (BiDi) multimode fiber (MMF) QSFP+ transceiver
module designed for high-speed data center interconnect and enterprise networking applications. Based on
proprietary 2x20G BiDi optics, the module enables four Tx and four Rx 10G electrical data lanes to transmit over a 2-
fiber LC duplex cable, providing a cost-effective upgrade path from 10G to 40G Ethernet leveraging existing 10G MMF
cabling infrastructure.
