Top-Trans QSFP+-40G-PLR4 is a Mellanox MC2210511-PLR4 Compatible QSFP+ Optical Transceiver. This PLR4 transceiver provides an extended 40GbE link for private cloud aggregation of HPC, Enterprise and IDC Infrastructure up to the range of 10KM. This PLR4 module is fully compliant with the QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ae standards. This PLR4 module can work on the mode of Infiniband QDR and well interoperate with Mellanox MSN2100 Series Switch.

Top-Trans QSFP+-40G-PLR4 uses 4 integrated silicon modulators to create four parallel optical paths each capable of 10Gbps for the aggregate rate of 40Gbps. It is ideal for the fibre link of 10KM over eight cores single-mode fibre wires with MPO/MTP connectors. With build-in DDM/DOM functions, this module can monitor operation status and diagnose voltage, bias current, RX power, and TX power.
