Description
DCL smart modulating type electric actuator is equipped with an electric positioning system(EPS) positioner. The angle of the output drive is proportional to the 4-20mA or 2-10V or 1-5V input control signal. The motor’s current is also monitored by the smart controller. When motor is stalled, the current will be suddenly sharply increase. Controller will cut off motor power 3 seconds after getting the increasing current. This is electronic over torque protection, which is more precisely then mechanical over torque protection.
Actuator has been rigorous tested by CSA per UL and CSA standard. The duty rate can be over 70% for all series. The EPS system is self-calibrating which virtually eliminates "hunting" and provides an output position monitoring signal as standard.
