High-Density VNA Pallet Racking Warehouse Storage System with 100% Selectivity

Very narrow aisle pallet racking is a compacted configuration of selective pallet racking. Compared with selective pallet racking, VNA pallet racking enhances the storage density without sacrificing selectivity. If you plan to store a large number of various products within limited space, the VNA pallet racking system is an advisable solution.

Features of very narrow aisle pallet racking system:

• Narrow working aisles

As its name implies, the working aisles in the VNA pallet racking system are much narrower than those in other systems. In order to free up more space for storage, the width of the aisles is reduced by up to 1500mm.

• High bay racking system

VNA pallet racking system maximizes utilization of both floor space and vertical space. Floor space is at a premium for warehouses, so optimizing the headroom is especially critical. VNA pallet racks are often used in tall warehouses to make best use of height clearance.

• Specialized forklift

Standard forklifts are not suitable for such narrow aisles in the system. Thus, a specialized forklift, called atrilateral turret truck, is necessary for daily storage and retrieval. Trilateral turret truck is able to maneuver in narrow aisles and reach up to 15 meters.

• First in, first out

Every pallet can be accessed directly in the system, so stored products adhere to the principle of first pallet in, first pallet out, favorable for storing products with short shelf life.

Taking full advantage of vertical space can store more pallets in a one-floor space area, saving the cost of per pallet position. Although it requires more expensive material handling equipment, it is much less compared with the cost of expanding the warehouse.
