4. Protective coating of wire decks

When choosing your best wire decks for the warehouse, the coating material will determine if the wire decks can last long. Painted, power-coated, and galvanized are the most commonly seen coating types in wire decks.

Painted wire decks are cheap and you can have a lot of color options while they tend to scratch or peel after some time which may cause damage to the decks after corrosion.

Powder-coated wire decks can last much longer than painted ones with better durability and corrosion resistance. You can also have more options in texture and color and they are also more environmentally friendly than painted wire decks.

Galvanized wire decks, processing with hot-dipped zinc, can guarantee a lifetime of rust resistance and the overall property is superior. Providing a clean and sanitary surface, galvanized wire decks are ideal for pharmaceutical items and excellent choices for display areas. They can also behave great in extreme temperatures and moisture. And of course, their prices are higher compared with other types of wire decks.
