NYCZ500 High Precision And Safety Magnetostrictive Liquid Level Meter
NYCZ500 Magnetostrictive Liquid Level Meter Working Principle
The working principle of magnetostrictive liquid level meter is shown in the figure. The product mainly consists of a measuring rod, an electronic chamber and a non-contact floating ball sleeved on the measuring rod. Magnetostrictive wire (waveguide wire) is installed in the measuring rod. The measuring rod is made of non-magnetic stainless steel tube, which protects the waveguide wire very well.
When the magnetostrictive liquid level meter is working, the pulse generator in the electronic chamber sends out a starting pulse. When this starting pulse is transmitted in the waveguide wire, it generates a rotating magnetic field moving in the direction of the waveguide wire. When this magnetic field meets the permanent magnetic field in the float ball, it generates a magnetostrictive stretching effect, causing the waveguide wire to twist and generate a constant speed mechanical wave. This mechanical wave propagates in two directions. The mechanical wave reaching the end of the measuring rod is absorbed by the damper. The mechanical wave transmitted back to the electronic chamber is sensed by the energy pickup mechanism installed in the electronic chamber and converted into the corresponding current pulse. The energy pickup mechanism calculates the time difference between the two pulses to accurately measure the height of the measured liquid level.

NYCZ500 Magnetostrictive Liquid Level Meter Design Features
◎More extensive applicability, with multiple probe forms, multiple process connection forms, and multiple production materials, which can be customized;
◎ Strong reliability: since the magnetostrictive liquid level meter adopts the waveguide principle, there is no mechanical movable part, so there is no friction and wear. The whole converter is enclosed in a stainless steel tube, which is non-contact with the measuring medium. The sensor works reliably and has a long service life.
◎ High precision: because magnetostrictive liquid level meter works with waveguide pulse, the measured displacement is determined by measuring the time of the starting pulse and the ending pulse during the work, so the measurement accuracy is high, and the resolution is better than 0.01% FS, which is an accuracy that is difficult to achieve with other sensors.
◎ Good safety: the magnetostrictive liquid level meter has high explosion-proof performance, is intrinsically safe and safe to use, and is especially suitable for the measurement of chemical raw materials and flammable liquids. It is unnecessary to open the tank cover during measurement to avoid the insecurity of manual measurement.
◎Magnetostrictive liquid level meter is easy to install and maintain: Magnetostrictive liquid level meter is generally installed through the existing pipe orifice on the tank top, especially suitable for the installation of underground storage tanks and storage tanks that have been put into operation, and can not affect the normal production during the installation process.
