Working Principle of Differential Pressure Transmitter

NY3051 series intelligent differential pressure / pressure transmitter has a variable capacitance sensing component called“ σ” Chamber (see the figure below), process pressure through“ σ” Isolation diaphragms on both sides of the chamber and filling liquid are transmitted to“ σ”, the central diaphragm of the chamber. The central diaphragm is a tensioned elastic element, which produces corresponding deformation displacement for the pressure difference on both sides acting on it, and this displacement is transformed into a differential capacitance formed on the capacitor plate. The differential capacitance is converted into a standard output signal by an electronic circuit.
