1. What is vacuum impregnation process?
The vacuum impregnation process can be used for insulation impregnation treatment of electrical coils such
as micro motors, transformers, power transformers, etc. It can improve the permeability of insulation paint,
increase filling rate, and thus improve the overall mechanical strength, insulation strength, moisture and
mold resistance of electrical coils.
Vacuum impregnation equipment, also known as varnish vacuum impregnation machine or vacuum pressure
impregnation machine (VPI). The principle is to place the workpiece to be processed in a vacuum container,
and by vacuuming, remove moisture, air, and other volatile substances from the workpiece, and then fill the
gaps with insulating materials.

3. Commissioning
The motor coil vacuum impregnation machine is ready tested before delivery, and all units of the equipment is already
installed on an overall base plate for vacuum impregnation equipment with diameter less than 1000mm. After receipt of
the machine, the machine is ready to use when power is connected.
For varnish vacuum impregnation system with diameter bigger than 1000mm, we would send our engineers to the customer’s
site for installation and commissioning.
