1000mm Railway Gauge Container Flat Wagon Pay Load 55 Tons AAR Air Brake Wagon

Brief introduction:

AAR meter gauge container flat wagon is designed for South American customers. With an axle load of 17T and 1000mm track gauge, it is mainly used for transporting two 20’ containers or one 40’ container.

Main Structure:

The structure of the meter gauge container flat car mainly consists of the vehicle chassis, braking system, container locking device, coupler and buffer system, and bogie.

Chassis:

The vehicle chassis adopts Q345B low alloy high-strength profile steel plate, which is currently commonly used by China Railway, with superior performance and meets the loading function of the vehicle.

Container locks

Eight sets retractable rotating container locks are installed on the vehicle chassis to accommodate two 20’ ISO containers or one 40’ ISO container.

AAR air brake system:

The braking system meets the AAR S401 standard from USA manufacturer Wabtec. It mainly consists of control valves, empty-load proportional valves, pressure maintaining valves, angle cocks, combined dust collectors, hose joints, 4493D-II hand brakes, etc.

Coupler & draft gear assembly:

The coupler adopts the AAR E-type bottom acting SE60EE coupler, with a contour standard of AAR 10-A. Its material and mechanical properties meet the relevant requirements of AAR. The buffer adopts Chinese MT-3 type buffer, with a buffer capacity of no less than 45KJ, and the hook tail frame is made of cast alloy steel.

Ride control casting bogie:

The bogie is a three piece cast steel ride control type bogie, which adopts a control type inclined wedge damping device. The main components include wheelset assembly, bolster assembly, side frame assembly, bearing assembly, bearing adapter, foundation braking device, bearing spring, wedge vibration reduction, lower side bearing, and other components.
