Product Description: BIREYWAX YBW is a beeswax secreted by Chinese bees, commonly known as Chinese beeswax. At room temperature, this product is solid, soft, and ranges in color from light yellow to yellow or dark brown. It has a honey and bee pollen-like aroma, feels delicate and sticky when chewed, has no greasy taste, and when rubbed and kneaded, it imparts a greasy feeling and can be softened.

Characteristics of Beeswax:

• Plasticity: Beeswax has plastic properties, and when squeezed, its molecular structure is altered, enhancing its plasticity.
• Melting Point: At 40°C, beeswax appears solid but is starting to melt. When heated to 85°C or more, the beeswax will lose its color.
• Solubility: Beeswax is insoluble in water but is miscible with fats, oils, and other waxes. It dissolves in a variety of organic solvents and becomes soluble in alcohol when heated.
