Principle of pelletizing:
The polymer melt is extruded from the die hole and cut by a high-speed rotating cutter. The cut particles are cooled to a high-speed water injection to form a cylindrical water ring for cooling and setting, and then sent to the separator to separate the water. And particles. Since the machine head is in direct contact with water, insulation measures must be taken. In order to prevent the wear of the cutter and the template, the surface hardness of the template is relatively high.
The shape of the particles may be cylindrical, round or spherical, the length is determined by the rotational speed of the cutter, and the diameter is determined by the discharge orifice.
