BOPET film pelletizing and granulation machine
This production line is specifically designed for the recycling of post-industrial BOPET film. The customer has extensive experience with granulation lines and has previously used European machinery. However, this time they chose PULIER due to our higher cost-performance ratio and comparable technology. PULIER’s new recycling technology is designed for enhanced productivity. Our new design of compactor or densifier or agglomerator with single screw extruders significantly increases the raw material intake efficiency. BOPET film granulation machine is designed to efficiently recycle BOPET films into high-quality granules. This new type of pelletizing is more user friendly and requires low maintenance.
Key Features:
Densification Unit: The densifier plays a crucial role in compacting the BOPET film before it enters the extruder. This step ensures a uniform feed for the extrusion process, enhancing the overall efficiency of the recycling system.
Single-Screw Extruder: The single-screw extruder is specifically designed to handle the unique properties of BOPET. It facilitates the melting and mixing of the material, allowing for effective processing and granulation.
Strip strand pelletizing system: The process utilizes water to cool and cut the extruded material into granules. This method not only ensures a smooth cutting process but also helps maintain the desired characteristics of the recycled material.
Viscosity Control: One of the critical aspects of the BOPET recycling process is controlling the final viscosity of the granules. With our advanced system, the reduction in viscosity is kept within 0.5%, ensuring the quality and usability of the recycled product.
Material Source: The materials processed are sourced from BOPET film waste. Given the toughness of BOPET materials, the customer performs initial crushing themselves to prepare the feedstock
Flow Characteristics: BOPET materials flow similarly to water, which necessitates advanced filtration solutions. To address this, we have incorporated a backwash filter system that allows for automatic cleaning of the PET materials, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
Versatility for PBAT Film Production: The customer also intends to produce PBAT film on the same production line. To facilitate this, we have implemented an underwater pelletizing system that is compatible with both PBAT and PET materials.
Operational Efficiency: Based on our engineers' experience with machine commissioning, this production line is capable of stable operation at the customer’s facility, achieving a production capacity of up to 1500 kg/h.
This innovative production line not only enhances recycling efficiency but also provides the flexibility to process multiple types of materials, meeting the diverse needs of our customer.
