Meklon Paint

1. Meklon Car Paint is an intermix system with low strength and a full complement of tinting and blending capabilities.

2. Meklon Paint consists of clear coats, hardeners, thinners, binders, pearl colors, silver colors, 1K basecoat toners, 2K topcoat toners, primers (1K primer surfacer, 2K primer surfacer, epoxy primer, and plastic prime), and primer surfaces.

Characteristic: Meklon 1K Lake blue Colors with excellent leveling property, easy construction, excellent adhesion power and covering power, can match all kinds of solid colors, metallic and pearl effect. Mainly applies to intermediate cars, MPV and bus.

Substrates Well-Sanded, Completely dried and good existing finishes as bellow:
A original paint B. Old paint firm C. 1K or 2k primer
Surface Cleaning Wash by warm soap, remove wax, silicon and other contaminations with degreaser, sandingwith P800-P1000, wash with clean water then keep dry;again with degreaser.

Spray Viscosity 14-16s to drop off, in 4# viscositycup at 25°C,
ReTreatment After spray, allow 10-20 minutesair-drying time,then spray clear coat at once.
Spray Gun Set Up Gravity Feed: 1.2-1.5mm 3-5kg/cm 2
Suction Feed: 1.4-1.6mm 3-5kg/cm 2
Spray Technology Coats&Thickness: 2-3 coats, total 15-20um.
Flash-Off Time: At 25°C, 5-10 minutes between two coats, it depends on temperature and paint film.
Shelf Life 2 years in original sealed can, cool and dry place at 25℃.

Note:
1. The substrate must be cleaned and sanded before spray, wet sanding P800-1000 and then dry.
2. At ambient temperature higher than 30℃, add appropriate Retarder Solvent into thinner to avoid blushing. For more details, please refer to technical data sheet of Retarder Solvent.
3. To avolid problems of mottling or poor adhesion, the metallic paint film should be 15-25um.
