1) The function of the cooking and drying tank: The batch digester is used to sterilize, hydrolyze and dry animal by-products. .
2) Design overview of cooking and drying tank:
 The cooking and drying tank is a cylindrical horizontal storage tank equipped with a steam sleeve and a mixer.
The motor installed with hydraulic oil coupling pushes the gear through a set of V-belts. The hydraulic oil coupling and V-belt can ensure soft start, which is an effective safety device to prevent overload.
The driving end of the cooking tank is connected by an integral flange, the end plate can be disassembled, and the central shaft can be pulled out as a whole, which is convenient for comprehensive and thorough overhaul and maintenance of the equipment and the main shaft.
The cooking chamber is heated by steam, the steam valve is opened, and the steam flows into the steam jacket, the interlayer and the internal mixer and stirring blades, thereby heating the material in the cooking chamber, and the steam cools and turns into water (condensate).
