It is widely used in building materials, chemical industry, coal, grain and oil, feed and other industries. It is suitable for horizontal or inclined conveying of powdery, granular and small materials, such as grain, diesel, coal, flour, cement, fertilizer, etc. It is not allowed to transport perishable, sticky and caking materials. The operating ambient temperature is - 20 ~ 50 ℃, and the temperature of transported materials is ≤ 200 ℃.

Structure :

(1) The spiral blade of the screw conveyor has three types: solid helix, belt helix and blade helix. The solid spiral surface is called the s manufacturing method. The spiral pitch of the GX type is 0.8 times the diameter of the blade. The LS type screw conveyor is suitable for conveying powder and granular materials. The belt spiral surface is also called D manufacturing method. Its spiral pitch is the same as the diameter of the spiral blade, which is suitable for conveying powder and small materials. The blade type spiral surface is less used and is mainly used for conveying materials with high viscosity and compressibility. During the conveying process, stirring and mixing are completed at the same time. The spiral pitch is about 1.2 times the diameter of the spiral blade.

(2) The spiral blades of the screw conveyor have two directions of left-handed and right-handed.

(3) The types of screw conveyors include horizontal fixed screw conveyors and vertical screw conveyors. The horizontal fixed screw conveyor is the most commonly used type. The vertical screw conveyor is used to lift materials in a short distance. The conveying height is generally no more than 8m. The screw blade is a solid surface type. It must have a horizontal screw feeding to ensure the necessary feeding pressure.

(4) At the material outlet end of LS and GX screw conveyors, 1/2 to 1 turn of reverse screw should be set to prevent the end from being blocked by powder.

(5) The screw conveyor is composed of three parts: the screw body, the inlet and outlet and the driving device. The screw machine body is composed of head bearing, tail bearing, suspension bearing, screw, casing, cover plate and base. The driving device is composed of a motor, a reducer, a coupling and a base.
