Excellent Thermal Stability Flame Retardant Powder For Coatings
Description
A. Fire retardant is a substance that is used to slow down or stop the spread of fire. Fire retardants are also available as coatings or sprays to be applied to an object. In general, fire retardants reduce the flammability of materials by either blocking the fire physically or by initiating a chemical reaction.
Among the FR series nitrogen-phosphorus inorganic flame retardants, FR002 is a kind of high polymerization degree, crystal type Ⅱ ammonium polyphosphate without activating and surface treatment. It has high content of phosphorus and nitrogen, excellent thermal stability, near-neutral and non-toxic smoke property. With gas source and carbon source, it takes effect by char formation and intumescent mechanism.
B. FR002 is highly recommended to intumescent coatings.
Characteristics:
Compared with other similar commercial products,at the same dosage, FR002 has much lower viscosity in water, polyol suspension of polyurethane and better stability for long term storage.
