ED Type Silicon Carbide Rod
Silicon carbide rod, also known as silicon carbide heating element, is a rod-shaped non-metallic high-temperature heating element made of high-quality green silicon carbide as the main raw material. After processing by a processing system, it undergoes high-temperature silicification and recrystallization. Compared to metal heating elements, silicon carbon rods have the characteristics of high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, long service life, small deformation, and easy installation and maintenance. Therefore, silicon carbon rods are widely used in various high-temperature electric furnaces and other electric heating equipment in industries such as magnetic materials, powder metallurgy, ceramics, glass, metallurgy, and machinery. ED type is a standard SiC heating element. ED type is a high-density self bonding silicon carbide component with various diameters and lengths to choose from.
