SG Type SiC Heating element
During the process of heating with electricity, the resistivity of silicon carbide rods exhibits nonlinear changes with different temperatures. At room temperature to 800 ° C (domestic silicon carbide rod), the resistivity rapidly decreases with increasing temperature, reaching its lowest value at 800 ° C. As the temperature further increases, the resistivity begins to increase, and the magnitude of the increase becomes increasingly higher. The maximum operating temperature of silicon carbide rods cannot exceed 1450 ° C. If the operating temperature exceeds this value, silicon carbide rods will rapidly age and their service life will be seriously affected.
