Description

8TPH 14kW FRP Tanks RO Industrial Auto Drinking Water Treatment Machine

RO (Reverse Osmosis) is a membrane process that uses the selectivity of the RO membrane, the static pressure difference on both sides of the membrane as the driving force, overcomes the osmotic pressure of the solvent (usually water), allows the solvent to pass through and intercepts ionic substances, and separates the liquid mixture. There are two necessary conditions for the RO separation process: one is that the external pressure must be greater than the osmotic pressure of the solution (the operating pressure is generally 1.5~10.5MPa); the other is that there must be a highly permeable and highly selective semipermeable membrane. The pore size of the micropores on the surface of the RO membrane is generally less than 1nm, and it has a high removal rate for most inorganic salts, soluble organic matter, soluble solids, organisms and colloids.
Technology
The RO membrane itself is sensitive to the pH, temperature and specific chemical substances of the influent. The influent water quality strictly requires a pH range of 4~10, a temperature of <40℃, a silt density index SDI<5, free chlorine <0.1mg·L-1, turbidity <1, and iron content <0.1mg·L-1. In order to meet the RO membrane water inlet requirements, the raw water must first be pre-treated (sedimentation, coagulation, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, activated carbon absorption, pH adjustment, etc.) before entering the RO membrane system, and then pressurized by a pressure pump to enter the membrane assembly. Under the action of pressure, the raw water passes through the RO membrane to become produced water, while inorganic salts, organic matter and particles are retained by the RO membrane on the other side of the membrane to form concentrated liquid. According to the specific process requirements, the concentrated liquid can be recycled or reprocessed. RO can be used in conjunction with ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and other membrane devices to form an integrated membrane device.
