High-Performance TNC Female Hermetic Straight RF Coaxial Connector for PCB Applications
The TNC series represents a threaded evolution of the BNC connector, characterized by its screw thread mating feature. These diminutive, threaded, and waterproof connectors offer a uniform 50-ohm impedance and function across the DC to 11GHz spectrum. Two variants of the TNC connector exist: standard and reverse polarity. Despite their construction from cost-effective die-cast and molded materials, which might not match the performance of industrial or premium-grade products, they excel in diverse commercial uses. Commonly employed in antenna connections, TNC connectors find extensive applications in avionics, communications, and various industrial fields. Additionally, reverse polarity and 75-ohm versions of the TNC connector are also accessible.
