A waveguide filter is a type of transmission line filter. Generally, a waveguide filter consists of discontinuities and transmission line segments. Both can be equivalent to the corresponding lumped parameter elements and circuits, the waveguide discontinuous structure provides equivalent reactance, the equivalent resonant cavity of the transmission line segment, and so on.
