Preparation process of sodium hexametaphosphate
Sodium hexametaphosphorate produced by Riel Chemical is prepared from 85% thermal phosphoric acid and
99.0% high-quality caustic soda. After third-party test by SGS,
the finished product contains more than 68% phosphorus penoxide (see COA for details).
Sodium hexametaphosphate for use
1. Metal surface treatment
Cleaning agent: Used for metal surface cleaning and rust removal.
Rust inhibitor: prevents oxidation of the metal surface during metal processing.
2. Medicine and cosmetics
Stabilizers: In pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, sodium hexametaphosphate is used as a stabilizer to
prevent components from breaking down or settling.
Chelating agent: Used to remove heavy metal ions and improve product safety.
3. Agriculture
Fertilizer additive: Sodium hempetaphosphate can be used as a fertilizer dispersant to improve fertilizer efficiency.
Pesticide additives: In pesticide preparations, help the active ingredient to disperse evenly.
4. Research and laboratories
Analytical reagent: Sodium hexametaphosphate can be used in chemical analysis as a chelating agent or buffer.
