robot arm BX100S 6dof robot arm and universal robotic arm for small and light weld guns
Description:
OPTIMIZED SPOT-WELDING ROBOT
The smallest and fastest of the B series, the BX100S robot features a hollow wrist for housing cables and hoses. Its short reach design is suitable for small and light weld guns, and it allows the robot to be installed close to the workpiece and in high-density applications.
BX100S Robot Overview:
Payload100 kg
Max.Reach1,634 mm
AUTOMATE CHALLENGING ASSEMBLY PROCESSES WITH THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY
Advances in automation control technology are allowing robots to complete complicated assembly processes where previously incapable. For over 40 years, Kawasaki has been improving technology to meet the high demand of assembly applications.
Kawasaki offers standard interfaces for inspection and motion guidance by 2D and 3D vision systems. These vision systems can identify the style of part to be assembled, or uniquely locate a part feature in order to accurately assemble the product. Advances in control hardware and software allows the robot to gently comply with tooling or the part to correct for any positional error. For large assembly applications, multiple robots can be synchronized to lift or assemble a large component using cooperative motion control. Servo end of arm tooling and multi-axis positioners can all be controlled by the Kawasaki robot controller to complete multiple assembly operations in a single work cell.

Advantage:
COMPACT PROFILE
Conventional high-payload robots require a large counter-balance weight which can cause interference in the work zone as well as limit the overall working range of the robot. Kawasaki's innovative Advanced Link Structure design for JT3 up and down arm movement eliminates the need for this counter-balance thereby reducing interference and increasing work envelope.
ULTRA HIGH WRIST TORQUE
Using advanced engineering techniques in motor technology, the robot is capable of industry-leading wrist torques of 5,488 Nm for the MX700N and 15,000N.m for the MG15HL. This high wrist torque provides the ability to significantly offset heavy payloads from the tool mounting flange.
PROGRAMMING FLEXIBILITY
M Series Robots can be programmed in two ways, via the robot teach pendant or a computer, and using one of the two Kawasaki's programming methodologies, Block Step or AS Language. The Block Step programming method eliminates time consuming program teaching with auto-path generating software. The powerful AS Language provides ultimate flexibility via any word processor text file and enables the programmer to create advanced logic, manipulate program locations, integrate peripheral components and control the application process.
