Hexagonal drill rod and round drill rods are produced by CNC machining and advanced heat treatment on the base of the same steel as .

Hexagonal drill rods, use for tunneling and drifting drilling.

Thread size: R22, R25, R28, R32, R35, R38, T38, other.

Rod size: Hex.22, Hex.25, Hex.28, Hex.32, Hex.35.

Length: 2100mm to 6095mm.

Round drill rods, use for bench and production drilling.

Thread size: R32, R38, T38, T45, T51.

Rod size: Round 32, Round 39, Round 46, Round 52.

Length: 600mm to 6059mm.
Round drill rod is used extensively for heavy excavation. Compared with the hexagonal rods of the same diameter, the round rods have less material and lighter weight, and are relatively low in operation and cost. The hexagonal rods have significant advantages in light tunneling and tunneling, and their hardness is enhanced to make the holes more straight, to wash holes and to drain slag better.
