1. The Pipe lengths : Unless otherwise agreed upon, all size from NPS 1/8” TO AND INCLUDING nps 8 are available in a length up to 24ft with the permitted range of 15 to 24 ft. Short length are acceptable and the number and min, length shall be agreed upon between mfg and purchaser.
2. The finished pipe shall be reasonably straight and shall have workmanlike finish, Removal of imperfections by grinding is permitted, provided the W.T are not decreased to the less than the permitted in Section 9 of Specification A999/A999M
3. Pipe Marking: Specified in A999/999M, include “Logo+Standard+SIZE+Heat No.+Lot No.+H.T/E.T/U.T”
4. Packing: Each Pipe end is protected by Plastic cap. Then packed by Anti-rust steel strip, The outside of the bundle is plastic woven bag, or Plastic film.
TP 321 Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe Characteristic
Among the 321 stainless steels, Ti exists as a stabilizing element, but it is also a heat-strength steel, which is much better than 316L in high temperature. 321 stainless steel is used in organic acids and inorganic acids of different concentrations and temperatures, especially in oxidation. It has good abrasion resistance in the medium and is used to manufacture the lining and conveying pipeline of wear-resistant acid container and wear-resistant equipment.
321 stainless steel is Ni-Cr-Ti austenitic stainless steel, its performance is very similar to 304, but due to the addition of titanium metal, it has better resistance to intergranular corrosion and high temperature strength. Due to the addition of titanium metal, it effectively controls the formation of chromium carbide.
321 stainless steel has excellent high temperature stress breaking (Stress Rupture) performance and high temperature creep resistance (Creep Resistance) stress mechanical properties are better than 304 stainless steel. Suitable for welding components used at high temperatures.
