Efficient cooling is one of the biggest challenges data centers are facing today. Data centers need to create more outputs with the same amount of square meters available.
This means infrastructures are becoming more dense than ever before , and more density creates more heat. Air cooled systems are no longer scaling efficiently and need to be equipped with huge airconditioners creating a major environmental impact.
The advantages of immersed cooling:
Our Immersed Cooling System eliminates the need for traditional building design and data center applications such as raised floors, chillers, CRACs and CRAHs. This reduces your CAPEX by 50% and the OPEX by 40%.
Imagine the impact for your business if you can reduce your electricity bill by 60%. These types of savings require a positive adjustment of your business model.
Working Diagram
The above graphic depicts a two-phase immersion cooling system. In this system, the fluid boils on the chips and the phase change provides the majority of the cooling. These systems are more complex than single-phase systems but offer higher efficiencies, scalability, and lower maintenance.
Unlike single phase cooling, equipment is dry when removed thanks to 3M's Novec and Fluorinert Fluids.
At present, we mainly offer two-phase cooling. The benefits far outweigh the added complexity.
