Energy-saving rod mill Features
The energy-efficient rod mill that our company produces is all that rolling bearing support instead of bearing bush slip bearing support. It will save 10-20% energy compared with slip bearing support and improve production capacity by 10-20%. It uses grease replacing dilute oil lubricating station. The grinding mill does not need allocate high price high or low pressure lubricating station. The grinding mill with diameter above 2700mm can adopt high pressure electrical machinery, pneumatic clutch, big gear oil spray lubricating and slow speed driving device for maintain.

Rod mills Working Principle
The rod mill is a horizontal rotating device transmitted by the outer gear. The materials are transferred to the grinding chamber through the quill shaft uniformly. There are ladder liner and ripple liner and different specifications of ceramic ball in the chamber. The centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the ceramic ball to a certain height and impact and grind the materials. The ground materials are discharged through the discharging board thus the grinding process is finished.
Application
Rod mill is applied to metal and nonmetal mine, water conservancy and glass building materials grinding various ore, rock and artificial sand which needs product granularity evenly.
Rod Mill--bar Mill Application:
Rod mill are generally used to grind material 1/4 inch and finer, down to the particle size of 20 to 75 microns. To achieve a reasonable efficiency, they must be operated in a closed system, with oversize material continuously being recirculated back into the mill to be reduced. It is widely used in building material,ceramic raw material, chemical industry, etc,can be used both dry and wet.
