The LPC-18A-01 capsule slip ring is also called a rotary electrical interface, commutator, collector, swivel or an electrical rotary joint. It has high bandwidth transfer capability, and smooth running.

Slip rings are made of various sizes and are usually custom-made to specify the required inside and outside diameters, as well as the type of current being transferred.
