1. Product Description

Water Manganese Sand Softener System

Water Manganese Sand Softener, equipment used to reduce the hardness of water, in addition to remove calcium and magnesium ions in the softened water softening equipment in the process, does not reduce the total salt content of the water.

The hardness of the output water test by the "chrome black T reagent" showed blue color is qualified (<0.03mmoL/L).

3. Working principle

As representatives of the RNa sodium resin , the exchange process is as follows:

2RNa + Ca2 + = R2Ca + 2Na +
2RNa + Mg2 + = R2Mg + 2Na +

The water through the sodium ion exchanger , the water, Ca +, Mg + is replaced by Na +.
General control valve operation process is: run , backwash , brine , slow wash , salt water tank , flushing .

Underground Water With Iron And Manganese After Treating By Aeration, Iron And Manganese Ions In The Water Starts To Be Oxidated, Iron(Fe2+), Manganese(Mn2+) Exists In The Underground Water (Well Water), Mno2 In The Manganese Sand Can Catalyze The Oxidation Of Fe2+, Mn2+, To Generate Insoluble Trivalency Iron And Tetravalent Manganese, Then Use The Back Washing Function Of The Manganese Sand Filter To Get Rid Of Iron And Manganese And Make The Source Water Purified.
