1 PTFE is suitable for low and high temperature environment
Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene (PTFE) is a fluoropolymer synthesized from Ethylene fluoride, which is a kind of fluoroplastic. The chemical inertia of PTFE can prevent cross-linking, so there is no "memory", that is, can not be restored to its original shape as elastomer, the material under tension will produce creep and deformation, the so-called "cold flow" phenomenon. PTFE has a wide range of temperature application (-200~260℃), with good extrusion resistance, corrosion resistance, no aging problem, water and ultraviolet resistance, no toxicity and other characteristics. When the temperature is above 130℃, the simple PTFE diaphragm will produce large deformation, resulting in deformation and damage of the diaphragm.
