Low Energy Consumption And High Output Rubber Extrusion Strainer , Motorcycle/Bicycle Inner Tube Production Line
Machine Introduction:
A motorcycle or bicycle inner tube strainer is a tool used to help remove debris, dirt, or small particles from the inner tube before patching or repairing it. This is especially useful when fixing a flat tire, as foreign objects lodged in the tire can cause another puncture if not removed. Here's how it works and how to use it:
A strainer is typically a small, handheld tool with a fine mesh or abrasive surface.
It is designed to clean the inner tube's surface, ensuring it is free of dirt, grease, or small particles that could interfere with the patching process.
Locate the Puncture: Inflate the inner tube slightly to identify the puncture or leak.
Clean the Area: Use the strainer to gently scrub the area around the puncture. This removes dirt, dust, and debris that could prevent the patch from adhering properly.
Apply Patch: After cleaning, apply rubber cement or adhesive to the area and place the patch over the puncture.
Smooth the Patch: Press down firmly to ensure the patch adheres properly and there are no air bubbles.
If you don't have a dedicated strainer, you can use:
Sandpaper or an emery cloth to roughen and clean the surface.
A clean cloth or rag to wipe away debris.
Always ensure the inner tube is completely dry before applying a patch.
Use a tire lever to inspect the inside of the tire for any sharp objects that may have caused the puncture.
Using a strainer or proper cleaning tool ensures a better seal for your patch and helps extend the life of your inner tube.
