Product Introduction
The duckbill valve, also known as the rubber blowdown check valve, rubber check valve, etc., is a flexible rubber check valve without any moving components.
It is mainly made of elastic neoprene rubber and man-made fibers through special processing, and its shape resembles a duck's bill, hence the name.
The design principle of the duckbill valve is based on the fact that when there is no internal pressure, the duckbill outlet closes under its own elastic action; As the internal pressure increases, the duckbill outlet increases to keep the liquid drained at high flow rates.
This valve does not have any moving components, so it is free of any maintenance, and is widely used in coasts, beaches, docks, reservoirs, municipal flood discharge, sewage and other fields, and is known as an environmentally friendly green valve.
Operating principle
1. The liquid passes through the valve, and then the valve is opened.
2. When the flow or pressure increases, the opening amplitude of the duckbill valve will increase with it, and if the water flow stops, the anti-water pressure or atmospheric pressure will press the duckbill valve tightly to prevent the liquid or odor from flowing back.
3. The pressure required for the lifting of the duckbill valve is not very large, and the valve can be opened with a water level difference of 250 Pa inches.
