Introduction of food-grade rubber joints
Food-grade rubber joint is a kind of rubber joint specially used in the food industry, which has the advantages of high elasticity, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, etc., and is widely used in food processing, beverage filling, dairy production and other places.
Advantages of food-grade rubber joints
1. High pressure and heat resistance: Able to withstand high pressure and temperature changes and maintain stable performance.
2. Aging resistance: It has good anti-aging properties and prolongs the service life.
3. Good elasticity: It has good elasticity and can adapt to the displacement and deformation of the pipeline.
4. Large displacement: With large displacement capacity, it can absorb the vibration and displacement of piping system.
5. Convenient installation: Simple structure, easy to install and maintain.
6. Significant effect of vibration absorption and noise reduction: It can effectively absorb vibration and reduce noise.
7. Food-grade rubber flexible joint also has the characteristics of non-toxic, tasteless, high transparency, soft and good elasticity, etc. It is suitable for use in the piping system of the food and beverage industry to ensure the hygiene and safety of the fluids in the conveying process.
The role of rubber expansion joints
1. Allow movement in four directions.
2. Reduce vibration and noise.
3. High pressure and corrosion resistance.
4. Wear-resistant, waterproof, oil-resistant, acid-resistant, alkali-resistant.
5. Flexible flange for easy installation.

Different forms of rubber joints
The production process of food-grade rubber joints
1. Raw material selection: Select rubber materials that meet food-grade standards to ensure that they are non-toxic, tasteless and pollution-free.
2. Formula design: According to the use environment and performance requirements of the product, design a reasonable formula to ensure the high and low temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and other properties of the product.
3. Mixing: Mix the rubber material with other additives evenly to form a uniform rubber compound.
4. Forming: Put the rubber into the mold and make it molded into the desired shape and size through process conditions such as heating and pressure.
5. Vulcanization: Under the appropriate temperature and pressure, the rubber joint is vulcanized to obtain the required physical properties and chemical stability.
6. Inspection: Strict inspection of the products produced to ensure that they meet the relevant hygiene standards and regulatory requirements.
7. Packaging: Pack qualified products to prevent contamination or damage during transportation and storage.
Preparation for the installation of food-grade rubber joints
1. Ensure that the interface of the pipeline system is clean, dust-free and oil-free, check the appearance of the rubber joint, ensure that there are no obvious defects such as damage and cracks, and confirm that the model matches the use occasion.
2. Check whether all bolts, flanges and other related installation accessories are complete and in good condition.
Installation steps for food-grade rubber joints
1. Dock the pipes that need to be connected together to ensure that the butt of the pipeline is flat and smooth, free of impurities and burrs.
2. Install the flange at the pipe butt to ensure that the flange and the pipe fit tightly and there is no gap. Make sure that the bolt holes of the flange are aligned to facilitate subsequent installation.
3. Place the rubber soft joint between the flanges to ensure that the inner rubber layer of the joint is tightly fit with the pipe and there is no gap. Make sure that the axial displacement of the joint does not exceed its allowable range.
4. Use bolts to fasten the flange and rubber soft joint together. In the fastening process, the method of symmetrical step-by-step pressurization should be adopted to ensure that the tightening torque of the bolt is evenly distributed.
