Chemical Diaphragm Pump Application
RV chemical diaphragm pumps are excellent drum pumps. For the emptying of barrels, containers, canisters and drums of all kind of chemicals such as acids or lye, air operated diaphragm pump is a very good alternative to a conventional rod drum pump. Air operted diaphragm pump can pump corrosive, viscous and abrasive fluids with ease.

Plastic Pump Features

1. PP pump in PP-H material, wearing resistance, chemical resistance much better than PP.

2. The pump with PP center block, be full plastic pump, excellent chemical resistance.

3. Four bolts connection design, good seal and good dry suction.

How Do Air Operated Diaphragm Pump Work

As the name implies, air operated diaphragm pump (AODD) use compressed air to operate, rather than an electrical motor. This unique operating characteristic allows them to be used in situations where an electrically powered pump would not be advisable (e.g., when pumping flammable liquids). By their very nature, though, these types of air operated diaphragm pumps must be installed and maintained properly to function as designed.

When these diaphragms are pushed away from (or toward) the center section, or air motor, a vacuum is created in the pump’s body, and fluid flows into one of the liquid chambers through an inlet port. When the diaphragms are subsequently pushed in the opposite direction back to their original positions, again via compressed air, the fluid is expelled from the liquid chamber via an outlet port.
